Marie is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Psychology. She brings strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others to her role. She has been a longtime patient of the practice before joining the team.
Marie is the proud mother of four children and loves spending her free time cheering them on at sporting events and marching band performances. She also enjoys camping, fishing, and relaxing at the beach with her family.
Jessica Rosson serves as the Office Manager at Goochland Dentistry, where she is dedicated to creating a welcoming, transparent, and supportive experience for every patient. She joined the practice in July 2024 as a Financial Coordinator and quickly became an integral part of the team, stepping into her current leadership role in November 2025. Prior to joining the Goochland Team, Jessica has worked over 8 years in the dental field; to include assisting with oral surgery, assisting with general dentistry, she was a hospital-grade sterilization tech at D.D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and she has also worked in various other administrative roles within the dental field.
With a strong passion for dentistry and patient advocacy, Jessica specializes in helping patients navigate the often complex world of dental insurance and financial planning. She is committed to building trust and clarity by bridging the gap between the clinical and administrative sides of care. Her goal is to simplify financial conversations, making treatment more accessible through thoughtful budgeting and realistic planning tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside of the office, Jessica has been happily married to her husband since 2009. Together, they share a 15-year-old who is excelling in high school, learning how to drive, and spends lots of quality time in the kitchen creating and exploring new recipes with his mom. In her free time, Jessica enjoys drawing, being creative, and exploring local biking trails.
Christine earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University and is CPR certified. Christine enjoys getting to know her patients, helping them achieve healthier smiles, and staying up to date on the latest technology and techniques in dental care.
One of Christine’s favorite parts of her role is educating patients about the connection between oral health and overall wellness. She is passionate about helping patients understand the importance of a healthy mouth and loves seeing the confidence that comes from a healthy, beautiful smile. She also appreciates the positive work environment and supportive colleagues that make Goochland Dentistry such a great place to be.
My name is Keroles, and I joined Goochland Dentistry in 2024 as a dental assistant. I earned my dental degree in Egypt before moving to the United States and have always been passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and feel comfortable during their visits.
At Goochland Dentistry, I enjoy assisting with patient care, working with dental technology, and supporting our team in creating a positive experience for every patient. I value building relationships with patients and helping them feel confident about their smiles.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. One of my professional goals is to continue advancing my dental education and expand my career in dentistry here in the United States.
As one of our dental assistants, Emma loves working hands-on with patients, whether she’s assisting in procedures, drawing blood, or creating temporary crowns. She originally explored dentistry as a potential career path and quickly realized she loved it—now, she’s on the journey to becoming a dentist!
When she’s not at work or studying, Emma enjoys spending time at Virginia Tech, and her big dream is to travel to as many countries as possible.
Hi, I’m Kat! I began my journey in the dental field after graduating from dental assisting trade school in 2018. I started as a dental assistant in an endodontic office, where I built a strong clinical foundation and developed a passion for patient care. Over time, I grew within the practice, transitioning into the front office, and gaining experience in patient communication and office operations. After moving to Richmond, VA, I stepped into my current role as a Financial Coordinator, where I’m able to combine my clinical background with helping patients navigate their treatment and finances with confidence.
I believe in the importance of making a positive impression in healthcare and find fulfillment in helping others feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
Outside of work, I live with my significant other, Khanh, and our two cats, Java and Latte. We enjoy playing video games together, and I’m also interested in sports and anime. In my free time, I love powerlifting and continuing to challenge myself both mentally and physically.
Tira joined Goochland Family Dentistry after previously working with the practice as a temp. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, she is Laser-Certified, Local Anesthesia-Certified, and CPR-Certified. Tira enjoys helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles through preventive care, patient education, and diagnostic imaging.
Tira values the relationships she builds with her patients and takes pride in making each visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She especially appreciates the collaborative environment at Goochland Family Dentistry, where her coworkers are always willing to lend a helping hand.
Amber is a Certified Dental Assistant, Amber is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their dental experience while ensuring they receive the highest level of care.
Amber enjoys working alongside a team that is committed to both patient care and one another. Outside of the office, Amber loves spending time outdoors, whether she’s hiking, gardening, or simply enjoying nature.
Devante joined Goochland Dentistry in 2026 as a Dental Assistant. Devante earned his Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification through Fortis and is trained in sedation, general anesthesia, and Basic Life Support (BLS). He enjoys helping patients regain their confidence through their smiles and takes pride in being part of a team that works together to provide exceptional care.
Devante enjoys working on cars and spending time with his children, as well as his dog. Looking ahead, he hopes to do plenty of traveling and even cross skydiving off his bucket list.
Safa is a Dental Assistant who earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Science and was inspired to pursue dentistry after the positive experiences she had with her pediatric dentist growing up. She enjoys working alongside a team that genuinely supports one another and shares a passion for exceptional patient care.
Outside of the office, she enjoys taking walks, spending time with her family, watching TV shows and movies, and hopes to travel to Turkey one day.

This is Dr. Murchie, and I want to introduce you to Himani. She joined our office back in April, and I want to give her an opportunity to tell all about herself.
So Himani, tell us, how did you get into dentistry?
I went to dental school in India and did my bachelors there. Then I got an opportunity to come to the United States.
Then I shadowed a couple of dentists and was amazed by the technology and everything. That’s when I decided to become a dental assistant here.
Then I got this opportunity to be a part of Goochland Dentistry, and I am very happy to be a part of this office.
Awesome! So what are some of your favorite things we do here at the office?
I love digital dentistry and the technology the office has. Especially the 3D printer and the digital scanners. We recently made some mouthguards that were amazing.
What are you looking forward to?
I definitely would want to work here more and learn more about dentistry. I am learning a lot of stuff here, something new every day.
I look forward to taking people out of pain and making their smiles beautiful.
